Music City BMX is honored to be a USABMX National track. USABMX posts the National race schedule around October every year. Planning to come to Nashville for the Music City BMX National, here is everything you need to know.

Frequently Asked Questions
Camping: RV camping requires a paid reservation. RV registration opens around March/April and is posted on our Facebook Page to announce when reservations open. RV camping sells out quickly; once sold out message the track to be added to the waiting list. Cancelations will be refunded if the spot can be filled from the waiting list. Reservations are made on our Square site and must be paid in full at the time of reservation. https://music-city-bmx.square.site/ . RV camping is paved and is located either lakeside or on the parking loop behind staging. You must be escorted to your RV parking location by a parking attendant at arrival. We cannot hold spots for friends, RVs are parked in the order of arrival. Tent camping is sold during the National event, reservations are not taken. Tent camping is located lakeside under the trees. Hamilton Creek Park does not offer hook-ups or bathroom facilities for campers. RV camping will include 1 parking pass, location of parking is not guaranteed. Tent camping does not include a parking pass.
Parking: All vehicles entering Hamilton Creek Park Friday-Sunday of the National will require a parking pass. VIP parking reservations open around March/April and is posted on our Facebook Page to announce when reservations open. VIP parking sells out quickly. Reservations are made on our Square site and must be paid in full at the time of reservation. https://music-city-bmx.square.site/ . General Parking passes are sold Thursday during practice and at the entrance of the Park Friday - Sunday. Parking passes sold at the entrance of the park are CASH ONLY. Please have cash ready to keep the flow of traffic moving. If pulling a trailer, 2 parking passes will be required. Parking attendants will direct you where to go. We have lakeside parking (trucks & SUVs), "the loop" roadside parking (cars & minivans), and additional roadside parking. The roads throughout the park are narrow and many areas do not allow for roadside parking. Do not park in areas marked off with flagging ribbon or cones. "The Loop" is a one way road behind staging, DO NOT turn around on the loop. During heavy arrival/departure times, we cannot allow drop offs or pick ups. Uber or similar driving services and delivery services will be stopped at the front entrance. You must meet your driver there. Handicap parking is limited. We have golf cart shuttles running regularly throughout the event. Parking attendants can call for a shuttle for you if needed. We have room for everyone to fit inside the park, please be patient and kind towards the parking attendants and follow the rules so everyone can have a safe enjoyable experience. Bikes are flying around everywhere, please be careful and drive slow!!
Practice: Check our Facebook Events for practice details the week of the National. We offer multiple practice opportunities on Thursday. You must check-in at the track's registration building by the finish line and get a practice sticker before going to staging. Friday practice is hosted by and scheduled by USABMX. You must check-in with USABMX at staging to get a practice sticker before entering staging. See the USABMX event flier for Friday practice schedule. Practice is not offered on Saturday or Sunday. An example of what you can expect on Thursday is:
- 2 hour Practice Session;
- 1 hour Pro Practice;
- 2 hour Clinic hosted by a top Pro;
- 3 hour Practice Session split by age group.
Food: The track concession building near the finish line will be selling drinks, candy, and pre-packaged snacks. You can also pick up some track merchandise at our concession building. The food court located behind turn 1 will have a variety of food truck meal options and picnic tables.
Vendors: This is a USABMX hosted event and all vendors must go through USABMX for approval to vend at the National. Bike shops are set up on the paved area behind turn 1 & 3. The USABMX trailer is also located in that area.
Where to Stay: If not camping at the track, visit USABMX event page for the Music City BMX National to see a list of Stay to Save hotel options near by. We are located near the Nashville airport and have a lot of hotel options. Looking for the full Nashville experience? We are about 20 minutes from all the downtown Nashville hotels and country music scene. If you didn't get a RV reservation at the track but still want to camp, try Elm Hill RV Resort, Nashville Shores, Four Corners RV Resort, Nashville KOA, Nashville RV Resort, Cedars of Lebanon State Park.
What to Bring: We have limited bleacher seating near the track. It is recommended to bring camping chairs. The track offers plenty of tree coverage for shade or hanging hammocks. With our wooded area comes ticks and bugs. It is highly recommended to wear tick/bug spray and sunscreen at all times while in the park. The park offers a dirt jump line in the woods next to the first straight. Mountain bike trails near the lakeside parking area and in the woods behind staging. Paddle boarding, canoeing, and fishing in the lake. Golf carts are allowed for RV campers to assist with transportation. We will be racing past sunset on Friday and it does get dark around the park, so bring a light source. And don't forget to bring CASH for parking!
Bathrooms: Porta-johns are located between the USABMX trailer and the lake on the paved lakeside parking lot. There are also a limited number of porta-johns near staging. Porta-johns are cleaned early in the morning each morning. Please ensure cars or trailers are not left overnight in areas that will block access for the porta-john truck.
Pit Set-Up: As the host of the event, USABMX controls pit set-up locations and times. Please contact [email protected] to reserve a team pit location. Generally, reserved pits are set up Thursday morning, and all other pits may set up Thursday evening. Pits can be set up in the wooded area near the lake. Do not set up pits in the open grass near the lake as that is the parking lot Friday-Sunday.
Motos: Motos are posted by USABMX online. Deadlines to register are strictly enforced. Visit the USABMX event page for the Music City National for registration deadlines. We average over 250 motos each day at our National. Plan for the Friday night main to race around 10pm. If planning flights home, Sunday main can race late afternoon/early evening.
General Rules: No smoking within 25 yards of the track or an athlete. Pick up your trash. Track is closed/no riding the track except during posted practice and race times. No stopping on the track or top of turns during practice. Respect the city's and track's property. Lock your cars and do not leave valuables unattended. Security is on-site to ensure parking rules are enforced and help with general order.
Need Help or Have Questions: We are a volunteer ran track and do our best to answer questions timely. Prior to the event, message any questions not covered here to our Facebook page or email [email protected]. During the National, look for volunteers wearing Music City BMX Volunteer shirts or a parking attendant. The medic tent is set up behind turn 1. Security officers will be at the front entrance and around the track throughout the entire event.
The Music City National is a staple on the National circuit because of our beautiful facility and it brings in top riders from all over the country and world. We look forward to our event each and every year. We work hard as voluteers to put on an amazing event for the BMX community!
