Westerville BMX is a USA BMX Sanctioned Program that makes the Olympic Sport of BMX Racing available to people of all ages and ability. Our season runs from the end of April through October and includes weekly BMX Races, Balance Bike Races (ages 2-5), Practices, and Skills Clinics. We are also the home of the local BMX Team, the Westerville Cobras. Getting started is easy and one of our friendly Staff Members will be happy to assist you so COME OUT AND JOIN OUR BMX FAMILY!
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A COBRA? We aren’t just a program, we are a community! We take great pride in representing our Track, our Community, our Family, and Ourselves in a positive way wherever we go. Check out our CORE VALUES below!
C
Commitment: We are committed to making a difference for our track, our program, our community, our families, and our own personal progress!
O
Offer Help: At the track, at home, at school, at work and everywhere we go, we help others whenever and however we can.
B
Be Kind: Becoming better on the track is great but becoming a better person and showing kindness to others is the ULTIMATE REWARD!
R
Responsibility: We are responsible for our own actions and we take ownership of our mistakes. We demonstrate this at the track by remembering our gear, showing up on time, throwing away our trash, and owning our race results. Away from the track we finish our homework, help around the house and look for positive ways to impact our community.
A
And Respect: We show respect to our fellow racers, our parents, our teachers, our brothers/sisters, the track staff and everyone else we interact with. We also show Respect for things such as our bike, our equipment, and our track.
S
Sportsmanship: We do our best each and every time we compete. We understand that doing our best is about EFFORT and not where we finish! No matter what place we, or the other racers finish, we ALWAYS recognize their effort by saying “Good Race” and giving fist bumps following each race.
We're excited you want to ride with us! If you are a new rider, welcome to the family! If you are experienced, we are glad to have you back. Please select below:
