2013 Disney Cup Champions are crowned!
The 2013 Fall National returned this year to Kissimmee's Silver Spurs Arena - to the same arena that had previously hosted the 3-day Disney Cup a few years back. Inside the plush arena, USA BMX built a sweet 800-foot long track that had some good straightaways for layin' down the power, and a smooth but sometimes slippery surface. Sliding out in the turns would be something that decided quite a few races as the weekend went on.

BMX Bus from Florida leaves for Ohio Dreams
With a reduced deposit and the ability to make online payments as you go, the Ohio Dreams Florida Week will make a great Christmas Present for the Action Sports Athlete. Due to the waiting list for the FL Bus this summer, there are already 9 spots taken for 2014, leaving only 36 available seats.

The USA Cycling National Development Program (NDP) may be winding down its events for the 2013 calendar year, but the seeds for a successful 2014 are sown daily throughout the year. The latest example of that is the final BMX Junior Development Camp of 2013 that recently wrapped at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif.

Requests for UCi Career Numbers are open now!
Career Number requests are now open for the 2014 Season - and the Deadline is quickly closing in! Eligible riders have until this FRIDAY - October 11th, to request Career Numbers for Elite Men and Women for the 2014 season. As stated by the UCI: Any licensed rider in the category Men Elite and Women Elite can choose a permanent career number between 10-999. A chosen number will be exclusive for the rider, and cannot be used by any other elite category (including Junior category).

USA BMX After-School STEM Program
USA BMX, the world’s largest bicycle motocross organization, has launched a new after school enrichment program based on a Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) curriculum. The program had a soft roll-out in April and is now integrated into over 20 school districts across the United States. This effort is believed to be the first and only STEM program produced and endorsed by a national governing body in the United States.
