Team Manager/Owner : Wrenchman Racing Wrenchman Racing is based in Browns Summit, NC. I have been around bikes my whole life, racing road bikes when I was younger, moved on to BMX then on to MTB, then to DH/Freeride, and back to BMX. I have been working on bikes for well over 30 years. I was the Junior State Road Champion in the 80s, then when I moved to BMX , at age 17, was the HI-03 District 1, in Class, and 2 in Cruiser. I then spent just shy of 9 years in the Army, mostly stationed at Ft.Bragg, and in Hawaii, as a Field Artillery guy. After I got out, I started riding MTB and then DH, and a few years ago, got back into BMX, mostly because my then, 5 year old wanted to try it. We have been back at it ever since.

Māris Štrombergs (born March 10, 1987 in Valmiera, Latvia) is a professional BMX racer - hailing from Latvia but currently living in Murrieta, California. In the 2008 Summer Olympics (held in Beijing, China), Maris became the first Olympic champion in BMX cycling. Earlier that year, he’d won the 2008 UCI BMX World Championships - also held in China. By doing so, Maris became the first Latvian-born Olympian to ever win a Gold medal - instantly boosting him up to Superhero status in his home country. Four years later, he prolonged his Olympic title by winning the gold medal in the 2012 London Olympic games - completely dominating the main event, and doing a great job of holding off Sam Willoughby for the win. Upon returning from the 2012 Olympics, Strombergs was greeted by thousands of fans in his hometown Valmiera - and whenever he visits back home in Latvia, he is a huge recognizable, sports celebrity.

BMX racing is my life. I have over 35 years experience in the sport. From being both a top National caliber racer ( Many District #1's, NAG, and National Plates, and Gold Cup West Champion) and managing/officiating events on the district, state, regional, national, and World Cup levels. I have gained invaluable experience in the BMX racing world both on and off the track. I have also completed all the requirements to become an International Commissaire for (UCI) Union Cyclist International and have managed several International BMX events in the USA and South America. I have also been involved officiating many BMX World Cup events as well as both the 2008 and 2012 USA Olympic Trials for BMX and Team USA. I also attend the 2012 Olympics in London for BMX. I deal with the who's who in the BMX industry pretty much on a daily basis. I'm in tune with what's going on in the BMX racing world. I help make it happen every day. I'm a great player on an awesome team!

My name is Leandro. I love to ride my bmx bike. I started racing when I was 10. I fell immediately in love with racing. It is a blast to race on tracks and I love the adrenaline rush it gives me. Bombshell is my team. We have a great group of kids and we have so much fun at tracks and traveling to state races and national races. We are like a little bmx family. I like to set goals. My 2 biggest goals I met in bmx are winning a national in my inter class and turning expert in a year. My goal for now is to make at least a semi and hopefully a main in my class 12 expert at a national. Its been hard going from inter to expert but working hard I have gotten faster and had so much fun a long the way. I can only imagine what the future has for me. see ya on the track. Leandro

I am 21 years old, currently living in Long Beach, California, but soon relocating to Glibert, Arizona. I started racing BMX in 2002 at Orange Y BMX in Orange, California. My dad raced as a teenager at Chandler BMX in Arizona. At the time I started racing my brother had already been racing for a few years, but I had finally decided that I wanted to give it a try. My first national was just a short three weeks later in Reno, Nevada at the season opener of 2003. From 2003 to 2008, my dad, my brother and I raced around the country hitting every race possible, chasing points year after year. Beginning in 2008, my dad and I began attending the World Championships. I saw much success at these races in China, Australia, South Africa, and Denmark. After taking a hiatus from BMX for a short time while I was attending nursing school, I am now back doing what I love, racing BMX. Currently, I race in the 21-25 Girls and Girls Cruiser classes in the USA BMX National Series.
