I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada where I started racing on March 8th 1975. I was the first Nevada Number One Rider back when there was only one number one rider. There wasn't a separate number one plate for each class. I was Nevada's first rider to turn Pro in 1977. My first race as a Pro was the infamous Weinert's Mountain NBA National. It had a huge downhill banzai jump. I remember written on the flyer that the jump was 176 feet high! My best friend the late Bill Faircloth and I won the Sidehack class at the NBA Winternationals at the Desert Surf track in Las Vegas, NV in 1978. My first ABA National was the 1980 Winternationals at Chandler AZ. I have been racing for over 46 years, maybe some years just a couple races. BMX has made me who I am today. Most of my friends race BMX. In fact thirty two people in the BMX Hall of Fame are friends of mine. I don't just know them they are friends of mine! I met my Wife at the ABA track Harbor BMX in San Pedro, CA. I got my job as a IBEW Union Electrician because of BMX. I currently live in Southern California and Bellflower BMX is my home track. This year (2021) I am just racing my Cruiser but in 2022 I'll be racing both Cruiser and 20 Inch Bikes. BMX IS MY LIFE!!!

Returning to Racing in 2017 after a 35 year hiadeas, summer 2017 i was fortunate to get picked up by Gary Turner/ G2 ,they welcomed me with open arms. I departed summer 2018 we still remain good friends!! I ran the remainder of the season with some close bros that i was already doin the Race circuit with Toby Whitley, Chris Smith, and my Tattooing bro Paul Reza, the chill homie Scott Serrata and my Old skoo Brother i started this second time around with Kevin White!!! Growing as close friends ,We decide Jan 2019 to submerge and I started a Team!! We were blessed with a good amount of support from friends ,family and fellow racers and spectators,in which we are greatful, and became BUSHIDO RACE TEAM !!!! My daughter Alisha Morris on the Team and My Neice Coach Vanessa "VROD"Harnden!!!!
