This is my first year of racing. That being said, I'm 16 yrs old and never really rode bicycles before. I have been consumed with soccer for the last 11 years and had the opportunity to play on a variety of teams. In 2014, I went to the National Games and competed against teams from all over the United States. This event was invitation only and I was very proud to be a part of this event. August 2019, I went to Yucaipa BMX. and was hooked. I continued to go weekly for practice and returned to soccer in September. When the winter season ended in December, I returned to the track. By January, I knew it was time to start racing. Battling through track closures due to weather or COVID, I managed to win enough races to move from novice to intermediate. I was able to earn 2nd in Southwest Gold Cup and 2nd in Southern California State in the intermediate class. For my accomplishments, I earned an invitation to the Race Of Champions in Oklahoma and gained many awesome sponsors.
