Today was my first race ever at PI. With the help from my dad and friend Megan, I did the gate for my first time ever. During my second Moto, I was a little scared, but still finished strong. Came in 1st place with all 3 races!! Yay!!

Aubs was pumped to race tonight. She got out on the track for a couple practice runs. She actually had other striders there tonight. Great race! First race, she started off strong. Got passed coming out of the first turn. Pulled in a 3rd place. Then onto 2nd race, she was a little slow coming off the starting line, bringing in an other 3rd place finish. Aubs started her day off with a striders clinic at Burlington Powersports. She was enjoying it. We finished there and headed over to NW Indoor for some Saturday night racing. Being sick the past week, she was very strong at wanting to race. (She had borrowed her cousin, Ty's plate to make her go fast like him.) She got 2 practice laps in and started coughing bad. We decided to pull her in to cheer her brother and teammates on. Hopefully she will be all rested for next weekend.

Today was an other unsuccessful race for our lil Aubs. At PI they had all the striders starting on the gate. Auby hasnt been on the gate before and with how loud it was, she just wasnt having it. We tried everything to get her to go. Our teammates mom even tried, but she wasnt having it. Hopefully, we can get her back on the track this coming weekend.

Today would've been Aubs first race of the season. Sadly, she was way to tired. She made it out for some practice laps but when it came down to racing, she refused. We are thinking she probably took too long of a break. We are now in full swing back to racing. She did tell us she wanted to ride her new BMX bike and do the gate!!
