Our BMX season runs from April thru October. Hunter started racing in the summer of 2017 in July shortly after his 9th birthday. Since then he has taken off in the sport of BMX winning a 1st and 2nd at the Lumber Jack Nationals shortly after starting in the sport. He did this racing boys 2 years older than him instead of racing riders in his own class. Since then he has won race after race pushing the boundaries in BMX. In a little over 3 months, Hunter finished 13th overall in his district (all age classes included), top 200 in NAG points, and qualified in the top three in Gold Cup and State points for his class. In 2018 he has pushed himself further and harder trying to make his goal of taking first in state. So far in 2018 he has quailified 2nd in state, 2nd in GoldCup and is fighting for the top three in district against expert racers. He is the only intermediate in the top 10 surrounded by experts. For most of Hunter’s BMX career, he has raced against experts a year or two older than himself. Proving how good a racer he is by beating or finishing a close 2nd. Hunter has 28 wins, 43 second places, 12 third place finishes and has never finished below third in his carrier.
