Meet Jacob – aka "Lil Nuge" or "Nugget" – a BMX rider who’s on fire! Starting BMX in February 2024 after a scary crash when he was just 5, Jacob didn’t let fear hold him back. Instead, he jumped back on his bike, ready to conquer any track in his way. His adventure began after a trip to the Naples BMX track, where his excitement was so huge it crushed any fear. Now, he’s on a mission to ride BMX everywhere! And we’re not talking about just a few tracks – Jacob has ridden over 30 tracks across Illinois, Missouri, Florida, Indiana, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma! From coast to coast, Jacob has been racking up experience, making new friends, and getting better with every turn of the pedal. This kid is unstoppable! In just 2 months of racing, Jacob placed 9th in the Florida State Series, showing everyone that he’s not just a beginner – he’s a racer on the rise. And this is just the beginning. He finished the year with a Gold Cup 2 in the Southeast, missing 1st by a tight 1 point. Talk about impressive! Then, after just 7 months of racing he made the trip to Tulsa. Rounding out 2024, Jacob finished with a 5th place overall in ROC and made it to Grands Day 2- quarters in the intermediate class, just 3 weeks after moving up! That’s how you show growth and grit! But it’s not just about the racing – Jacob loves learning about his bike, getting his hands dirty, and making sure everything runs smoothly. He loves to meet new riders, make new friends, and help others learn. He’s got a whole BMX family cheering him on! And guess what? In 2025, Jacob is ready for even more – he’s going to be racing at more National competitions. We can’t wait to see him take on the big leagues! This will prove a challenging season with not only a level up to Intermediate but a quick jump up in age class as well. He is up for the challenge and looking forward to training hard. When Jacob grows up, he’s got BIG dreams. Not only does he want to be a pro BMX rider, but he’s also aiming to be a firefighter wearing his FireGear designed with FX racewear he likes to be called Lil Nuge in honor of his dad Lieutenant Nugent – talk about a hero on two wheels! Jacob’s journey shows us that anything is possible if you’re brave enough to try, work hard, and never give up. Keep an eye on this kid – because he’s going places, and he’s going to **set the world on fire**! 🔥🚴♂️🌟 ### Go, Little Red! Go, Nugget!

There was a time when I rode and I was competitive. I raced back in the day in New England now I ride and occasionally race for my son. It is awesome to be back on the track and this sport is incredible.
