2nd annual International Championship of “Global Open BMX” is set

Global BMX Curacao in cooperation with BMX Americas, is pleased to invite all US ABMX members to the 2nd annual International Championship of “Global Open BMX” to be held from October 31 to November 2, 2014.

Invited at this great event are:

• Latin America
• USA/CANADA
• Caribbean
• Europe

There are some accommodations available for riders and their coaches. For riders who are interested in this accommodation’s, they have to confirm their participation with the event as soon as possible.

2nd Global BMX Open Championship Race

1.  PLACE & DATE

The competition of the “2nd Global BMX Open Championships 2014”, will be held at the International track of “ Global BMX Curacao), the 1st and 2nd of November 2014

Global Open Race:

3.  RULES AND REGULATIONS
The competition will be held according to the rules and regulations of the Cycling Federation of Curacao and the international rules and regulations according to the UCI. The pros will run under the format they are accustomed.

Girls 20
Challenge: 9 years & under, 10 - 13 years - 14 years and up
Elite Women
Boys 20
Challenge: 6 years & under, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14,15, 16, 17, 18+
Cruiser: 16-29, 30+
Junior/Devo 15+
Elite Men 

5. PROGRAM
Friday Oct. 31st
Registration and confirmation starting at 14:00 – 16:00 at the Global BMX Track.

Open training for all categories from 17:00- 19:00.
Saturday nov 1 st  Global BMX Open Race 1/2
Warming-up 14:30 - 15:30 HRS
Classifications (Moto’s, quarter, semi & finals) 16:00 - 21:00 HRS
Sunday nov 2nd Global BMX Open Race 2/2
Warming-up 09:00 - 10:00 HRS
Classifications (Moto’s, quarter, semi & finals) 10:30 - 15:30 HRS
Award ceremonies, closing ceremonies, after party 16:00

6.  Prizes
2nd Global BMX Open Race Championship 2014:  

Challenge:
1. Saturday, Prizes will be trophies in all categories till 3rd place.
2. Sunday, prizes will be trophies in all categories
3. Sunday, the team trophy will be awarded to the team champion

Junior/Devo:
1. Prize money will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place

Elite:
1. Prize money will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
