About Brighton BMX
Located in beautiful Schneider Park in Brighton, Illinois, Brighton BMX is 1 of 3 BMX tracks in the STL Metro area, and 1 of 9 BMX tracks in Illinois.
Brighton BMX Track is a progression-friendly track! While all our features are easily rollable, they are designed to help young and new athletes get comfortable pumping, manualing and jumping!
For the Remaining 2024 Season - as weather permits:
Scheduled Track Maintance: Monday, Thursday and Saturday 4:30pm-5:30pm, Saturday Mornings 8:00am - 10:00am & 3:30 - 5:30pm (Track Maintenance Days are weather permitting. Additional organized maintenance days will be scheduled as needed by our maintenance crew.)
Open Practice & Racing:
Monday & Saturday Evenings registration 5:30 - 6:45pm
Practice from 5:30 - 7:00pm and racing ASAP. Single-point race fees are $10 for Class & Cruiser, $5 for balance bikes, Local Opens, and Practice Only.
League: Thursdays 5:30-7:30pm. Check our calendar for league session dates and addtional information.
Inclement Weather: If racing must be cancelled due to inclement weather, a determination will be made no later than 5:15pm. Updates will be posted here and on our social media feeds.
*Make Up Races: When a scheduled race must be cancelled due to inclement weather, a makeup race will be scheduled. Make up races will typically be scheduled 2 Mondays from the missed Saturday race. (Not the Monday immediately following the missed race, but the next Monday after.)
USABMX Membership: A USABMX Membership is required to practice and race. Free 1-day memberships are available to first-time riders. 1 year membership fee is $80 with discounts offered for families. Balance Bike Memberships are $40. You can also purchase a 60-day membership for $40.
