As some may have heard recently, Richmond Parks and Rec are teaming up with RVA More to create a brand new pump track in Deep Run Park in the West End/Short Pump area. We are so excited for this that we are going to register as a sponsor of the project.

The project has a tiered sponsorship program with Bronze ($1000) and Silver ($2500). Additionally, the largest doner will be identified as the title sponsor of the facility. We are sure that with the help of our BMX family we can hit that $2500 Silver level sponsorship.

That is where you come in..... Richmond BMX will match dollar for dollar every donation up to $1250 (total of $2500) that we collect via this  GOFUNDME Campaign to facilitate the fundraising. On February 28th, we will tally the total and then write a check for the sponsorship.

This is a great use of funds as it brings a lot of attention to Richmond BMX and cycling as a whole. Not just the signage at the facility representing Richmond BMX but this is part of our committment to do good things, encourage kids to get outside and ride bikes. If that means we get some new BMX Racers, thats great, but the bigger benefit is our Richmond BMX family is working together to make Richmond a great place to live!
