How to Sponsor Upstate BMX
Dear Prospective Corporate Sponsor:
Upstate BMX, located in Newark, NY (about 45 minutes east of
Rochester) is a bicycle motocross track. Our organization is run by
volunteers and managed by volunteer track operators Brian and
Stephanie Liechti.
BMX Racing is the newest Olympic Sport. We are very proud to be
able to offer this sport and provide a positive atmosphere that
keeps riders of all ages active and healthy. Our purpose is to
encourage healthy and safe competition, promote good
sportsmanship, enhance self-esteem, and to work to increase our
membership and overall presence in the community.
Friday race nights average 50-70 riders and their families, totaling
100-125+ attendees. We have over 2,000 active Facebook fans
with featured posts regularly reaching over 6,000 unique users.
We are excited to be hosting a “State Race” in a few short weeks
where we expect a tremendous number of riders from throughout
the Northeast.
Personally, we both began our involvement with Upstate BMX last
year, as our children looked for a safe, outdoor outlet for COVID.
Since we already were avid bikers, this was a natural fit for us. As
neighbors, and friends for years, we have combined our
backgrounds in children’s camping, education, fundraising, and
FUN-seeking to chair the sponsorship efforts this year. We are
working to provide an organized approach to supplement track
funds and being able to support the track in much-needed safety
and aesthetic improvements.
We are thrilled to be able to give back in this way and hope you, as
a local business, understand the value in this sport and what it
does for the riders of all ages who participate.
