Open House & 1st race dates postponed

I know we are all eager to hit the track and start riding but unfortunately the weather this winter has dealt us a bad hand.  This means we must postpone our open house/registration days and our season opening race.  Please see below for new dates:
SATURDAY MARCH 25th, 10am - 1pm Work Party
TUESDAY MARCH 28th, 5:30 - 7:30pm/dusk Open House & Registration - CANCELLED
THURSDAY MARCH 30th, 5:30 - 7:30pm/dusk Open House & Registration - CANCELLED
SATURDAY APRIL 1st, 2 - 4pm Open House, registration,
bike 101, swap meet,
new rider orientation
WEDNESDAY APRIL 5th, 6:30 - 8:30pm General Meeting,
JDF lower clubhouse
SUNDAY APRIL 9th, 2 - 3pm First race of the season
& Bake Sale

Come along on Saturday April 1st 2-4pm and register for the new season. You can get your bike checked out to make sure it is ready to ride and ask any questions regarding bike sizing etc.  We will also be running through some new rider info and encourage you to bring along any items including bikes, parts, clothing etc. you have for sale to take part in our swap meet that day too. NO BIKES WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE TRACK TO PRESERVE TRACK CONDITIONS.

The first race of the season will take place on Sunday April 9th (track conditions and weather depending). Registration will be 2-3pm with racing ASAP after 3pm.  We will also be holding a Bake Sale that day to raise funds for "Remembering Evelyn" fund.  Please contact Tara if you would like to donate baked goods to the sale.

If you have any old trophies to donate, please bring them along on any of the above dates.

Remembering Evelyn

A bottle drive fundraiser has been set up at Bottle Depot on Quadra, Glanford and Ellery, and also at Alpine on Dunford in the name "Remembering Evelyn". When recycling your empties, please consider supporting this worthy cause.
