2023 USA BMX Pro Series and Pro/Am
The sport’s peak is preparing for the 2023 USA BMX Pro Series, so get ready to meet your favorite pros and watch them battle for the title at each stop along the 2023 tour!
Lone Star Nationals
February 10-12 • Rockstar Energy Bike Park • Houston, TX
The Houston super facility is kicking off the season in a big way for the top of the sport. This past season’s Lone Star Nationals brought the international contingency back to the USA BMX series and the 2023 season opener looks to do it again. Located in North Houston, Rockstar Energy Bike Park is a one-stop shop for all aspects of BMX, bringing racers worldwide to witness Texas-sized battles.
Gator Nationals
February 24-26 • Oldsmar BMX • Oldsmar, FL
Back on the big hill in Oldsmar, Florida, the second stop on the 2023 Pro Series brings the Florida Sunshine and the Florida speed to the masses. After a successful return in 2022, Oldsmar BMX is ready to do it again as one of the pivotal stops in the title chase. With a long-standing partnership between USA BMX, St. Pete Clearwater, Florida, the City of Oldsmar, and the Florida Sports Foundation, the Gator Nationals is locked in the gate and ready to bring steady pro-series action to race fans across the globe.
Carolina Nationals
March 31- April 2 • Rock Hill BMX Supercross • Rock Hill, SC
If you want a big rider count and even bigger BMX racing action, you go to the Carolina Nationals. The first of two weekends at Rock Hill BMX Supercross is preparing our amateurs for the World Championships and giving the pros across the globe a chance to get race ready with the rest of the field.
Legacy Nationals
May 5-7 • Hardesty National BMX Stadium • Tulsa, OK
THE track of USA BMX is back for their second National weekend with big competition charging in Tulsa. After the inaugural season, the Hardesty National BMX Stadium proved its place in the schedule and looks to do it again in 2023. Located just North of Downtown Tulsa in the Historic Greenwood District, the USA BMX National Headquarters gives racers a facility to race and learn the history of the sport and easy access to the history of Tulsa and experience everything Downtown has to offer.
Music City Nationals
May 26-28 • Music City BMX • Nashville, TN
Small hill and high RPMs is the name of the game in Music City as the 2023 Pro Series visits its first small hill of the season. The legendary Music City BMX has often been the place to showcase raw horsepower out of the gate, and the 2023 Music City Nationals is set up to be no different. Known to the BMX community as the drag strip, the pro classes are ready to ramp up their speed and bring the energy of Broadway to the track.
Black Jack Nationals
July 7-9 • Reno Livestock & Expo Center • Reno, NV
The return to Reno and the return of an indoor pro stop have the BMX community buzzing with excitement. The Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center will once again transform into one of the best indoor BMX tracks on the circuit that will produce action-packed racing. Placing this event in July will allow families to plan amazing family vacations in the Reno/Lake Tahoe area - making this one of the significant events that you will not want to miss.
Derby City Nationals
September 1-3 • Derby City BMX • Louisville, KY
The ‘Ville. This legendary track has continued to bring BMX greats to the finish line, and Derby City BMX is ready for more action. With its historical roots hosting the National Bicycle League Grand National and USA BMX action-packed racing each year, the fast and flowy track is prepped and dialed for more greats to load into the gate. As a late-season weekend, the Derby City Nationals can make or break title chases, making this weekend a start-to-finish battle you will not want to miss.
SoCal Nationals
September 22-24 • Industry Hills Expo Center • City of Industry, CA
A BMX national just a few short miles from the birthplace of BMX! The sport has been waiting to return to the heart of Southern California, and the Industry Hills Expo Center in the City of Industry is just the place. The massive complex and the covered arena feature a huge floor perfect for building a competitive track. With Disneyland less than 20 miles away, it will be a great chance for riders from around the country to visit the SoCal beaches and everything the Los Angeles area has to offer!
Fall Nationals
October 27-29 • Rock Hill BMX Supercross • Rock Hill, SC
Back to Rock Hill, SC, for the final stop of the 2023 regular season. With the Fall Nationals traveling to the East for the second stop at Rock Hill BMX Supercross, racers will be searching for those final points headed into the Greatest Race On Earth. While the title chase will be on their minds, this will be yet another chance for racers to prepare for the UCI World Championships in 2024.
Transponders
Transponders will be mandatory for Men, Women, and Vet Pro classes during each stop of the 2023 season. Transponders are $60 and will be activated for free at each race.
UCI Races
USA BMX will continue to hold UCI races on Sundays at select Nationals throughout the Pro series. UCI designation will be released at a later date via the UCI.
Men and Women Pro/Am
An exciting new addition to the USA BMX National Series will bring Pro and Amateur racers together on Friday and Saturday of all non-Pro Series weekends. Replacing the Men and Women Pro Open classes, the Men and Women Pro/Am classes will be available to all pros and all 15+ expert amateur racers. The Pro/Am purse will follow the pro open pay scale, which unlocks a 100% payback after 34 riders. To cultivate speed and confidence in amateurs and allow pros to race and feature their sponsors throughout the year, the Men and Women Pro/Am classes will run from the season opener at the Silver Dollar Nationals to the final non-Pro race, the Super Nationals.
