Welcome To The 2025 BMX World Championship USA Team

2025 WORLD BMX CHAMPIONSHIPS – CHALLENGE CLASS
July 28th- August 3rd - Copenhagen Denmark

  USA BMX will be managing the Challenge Class logistics for the 2025 USA Team (including registration, entry fees, jersey orders, waivers, etc.)  Challenge riders will process those transactions with USA BMX and will purchase their UCI BMX International Rider License from USA Cycling.  Information will be posted here as it becomes available and the links will then become active.  Please check back often as information may be updated or changed.  For more information on registration contact the USA BMX staff at worlds@usabmx.com or for USA Cycling membership information contact membership@usacycling.org

Qualification Events:

• 2025 Sunshine State National
• 2025 Lone Star National

On Friday of the national, UCI classes will be the only class offerings for riders attempting qualification. 

IMPORTANT DATES AND DEADLINES

1. Automatic & Qualified Nominations


1. Announcement of Automatic Nominations: January 1st, 2025
2. Announcement of All Qualified Nominations: March 1st, 2025
3. Confirmation of participant registration: May 1st, 2025

2. Petition Discretionary Nominations


1. Deadline for submission of petitions: May 1st, 2025
2. Announcement of Discretionary Nominations by Petition: May 10th, 2025
3. Confirmation of participant registration: May 15th, 2025

3. Final announcement of the Team: May 20th, 2025

 

USA CYCLING BMX CHALLENGE CLASS TIMELINE

• January 15, 2024: Registration opens for 2024 W1-W8 riders
• January 25, 2025: Registration opens for Sunshine National qualified riders
• March 7, 2025: Registration opens for Lone Star National qualified riders
• May 1, 2025: Deadline for submission of discretionary nomination petitions
• May 1, 2025: Deadline of participation registration for ALL QUALIFIED RIDERS
• May 10, 2025: Announcement of discretionary nominations
• May 15, 2025: Deadline of participant registration for discretionary nominations
• May 20, 2025: Final announcement of World Championship Challenge Class Team
• July 9, 2025: UCI published entries
