Season Awards Banquet - Sunday Dec 5 12-3pm
Its banquet time!! Not really the type of Season Awards banquet we have been holding but in this weird and crazy time we didn't want to chance waiting until January to find out large gatherings indoors is a no go and be trying this in the dead of winter. The 2021 season has come to an end with the 8th Annual Luck Cup! A double point race to bring the 2021 season to a close. One that has seen some incredible events in an stranger than fiction year, we celebrate all the great fun we have had on and off the track. 2022 Season: Richmond BMX Organizational Updates and Volunteer Roles
As announced last week Gary Craig will be stepping down and track operator at the end of the 2021 season and with this decision Richmond BMX will also be modifying our organizational structure to 1) remove the burden of all responsibilities of maintaining and operating the track from a few to many and in doing so 2) we hope to establish new, and improve upon existing, processes. New Rider Clinics coming!!!
We just completed the second round of New Rider Clinics, a 5 week long program designed to get all the riders who joined BMX Racing in the past year or so and what a success it has been. With 25 riders in each of the two groups we have started a whole new generation on the path to exceling in Bicycle Motocross Racing!
