I won 3rd place today in a Main Event at Noonday BMX. It is my first time getting an official "podium win" and getting a trophy for it, although I've had a participation trophy once already. I really like trophies. I have a lot of them from other things like T-ball, karate, and even gymnastics. I even have some medals and a couple of ribbons. I wanted to win 1st place today, but I'm going to keep practicing and trying. I have three 1st place transfers now, including today's round 1. Here I am relaxing before the main event since I didn't have to race in round 2 and then when I got my trophy.
After today's race, I got to ride the track with my Dad. He got a new bike yesterday so he could ride with me. He used to race when he was a kid, but he started when he was older than I am now. He is showing me a lot of new stuff, and I'm starting to get some good air!
I'm going to race as much as my mom and dad will let me! I love racing BMX!
