We decided to branch out a bit and while on vacation visit tracks that are not our home track. It was a little nerve racking but mostly a great experience. I took my first 3rd place in Intermediate and then later in the week we raced at Blue Springs BMX and I took my first 1st place! It was exciting! Mom and dad didnt tell me that I was actually racing a 9 and 10 year old! There were moments where I needed to use what they teach at the clinics and I took the placement. It was a total points race and I took 1st in all 3 races. The tracks were very different from home. The one was completely dirt with out any tar and the other was like Rum River in that the corners were tar but it taught me that conditions are very different on every track. Great learning experience for all of us.
SO. 1 Intermediate 1st place under my belt- 19 more to go! :) enjoying the journey!
