I had such a great time at the Coal Hills National, in Vacouver Island, BC. Saturday started out well, finished my first round on my cruiser with a 1st - then came my 20". My gate was strong, first to the 30ft line, but made a silly mistake and not moving over earlier and didn't grab that first round transfer. Went out for round 2, I was killing it, going into turn 2, full speed in first place, slipped out and crashed hard - which ended my day on my 20" bike. I was so upset, knowing I could win this race, it was so hard to sit and watch that class race, knowing I should be up there with them. I finished Saturday winning on my cruiser, in pain from my crash.
I set my sights for Sunday - that started well, took the transfer on both bikes - to the main event. I ended up taking 2nd on my cruiser and 1st on my 20"- though anonther girl crashed on the same corner, same spot I crashed on the day before. I hope she heals up fast.
