July 26th, & 27th marked the 2014 Great Lakes Nationals @ my home track Waterford Oaks Bmx!
2014 is the 40th anniversary of Bmx racing @ Waterford Oaks Bmx, the oldest bmx track in the nation. The weekend was great weather, with a packed facility of locals and out of state racers looking to prove they are the best in their proficiency. The track was incredibly smooth and well prepared for racing on national day 1 and national day 2 thanks to Oakland county parks staff, and a great track director.
