Dane Earns this season's first big National Class win today at the USA BMX Black Jack Western Divisional Finals in Reno, NV

After struggling for the last 3 months to get up to speed in the 8 Expert class, today Dane earned his first big national win of the season in Reno, NV on Day 2 of the Black Jack Nationals. 32 racers today including reigning NAG #1 Ronnie Kim and a few top ranked soon to be 9 Expert NAG racers. Dane made it through some really tough qualifiers and made it to the main and gated from lane 3. Dane entered turn one in 5th, came out of turn one in 2nd and then hunted down race leader Kody Kolshinski and passed him in the last turn to take the win today. Dane had to miss practice and day one of racing yesterday to attend his grandfathers funeral, so to show up today and take the overall against 32 of the West Coast's fastest 8 year olds was a great way to honor his grandfather who was a big fan of Dane's Motocross and BMX racing.
